better, or easier, than yesterday. Yesterday was rough. Today my daughter is back, now she is playing roblox with her bff online. I’m listening to new order, it’s james klein’s and yoko ono’s birthdays! looking at her instagram, really glad I did. So much focus on peace, she never will let go of that. and if only everyone had that focus.

I worked a lot today, at my sales thing. drove around, doing stuff, got a mocha at peets and food from baja. worked on my website and blog a bit. a very productive day, a little sore from running yesterday, not a very restful day. watched american gods, which is getting more intense regarding racism in america, in a good way. like watchmen did on hbo max. Good shows to watch to help confront racism in the world and in ourselves. My ongoing education. These Truths by Jill Lepore is another good place to go to, her book, a history of the US with her focus on slavery.

a re-visioning of watchmen, the comic, on a different timeline, a different reality. and american gods is another reality, a plane or planes of magic and dream and existence that is part of or parallel to ours. Salim is a character who loves Allah, and a djin and Odin make fun of him for this blind monotheism. he is adamant though, his love for his God who is the only God. He believes in the other gods, he just doesn’t care about them or stop believing his god is the true god. I can relate to both sides. sometimes I see one god, sometimes many, or aspects, sometimes. usually something.
