wednesday — paper girls
Getting ready to go back to Canada tomorrow. Watching Paper Girls, the amazing creation on screen based on Brian K. Vaughan’s comic books, has been fun. The creator of the Saga comic books. So far, a great treatment of time travel, much more sophisticated than Endgame, although I did think of Time Bandits at one point.
Paper Girls, sans spoilers, is a great rendition of time travel with young girls who are complex, 12 years old, similar in quality to Saga. The show is based on the ultra cool comics.
I’m going to Canada to Vancouver and Squamish to boulder, climb, hike, run on the trails if I can or whatnot. Take time off work for about three days plus the weekend. Some work, maybe, but in Canada.
Squamish was amazing! Must go back in Spring for more bouldering there. Also did a 10 mile run in the mountains. That was a bit much….
